Research and monitoring play an important role in the development and implementation of successful restoration projects. Creative Habitat conducts research on plants and animals, such as turtle habitat analysis (pictured at left) or grassland bird habitat requirements. Monitoring the species composition, growth rate, and changes over time, along with photo-documentation allow us to evaluate our restoration techniques and improve upon them. Our existing database from previous projects allows comparisons between similar projects and allows us to recommend effective maintenance and management options.
